Calling all Georgian College students!
We are hosting a brand new Maker Night on campus, we will learn to 3D scan! Using our personal computers we will be working with 3D models and learning how to do some simple edits.
Join Virginia and Victor Skierski

Getting your hands dirty with Unity.
You have made your models, now you need a game to put them in.
But to make a VR game you will first have to learn how to use a Game Engine.
In this module you will learn how to get started on your first VR project in the Game Engine Unity.
Here we will cover the very basics of not only using the engine for your projects but also how to build worlds and write code to make the game that only exists in your head a reality.
This session is targeted to everyone and assumes that you have no prior knowledge of game development, coding, and/or world building.
**BONUS MODULE** Show your world off in Altspace
After crafting your world in Unity, you can show it off to your friends in the metaverse.
Altspace is the quick and easy way to upload your vision to the masses.
Requires prior knowledge of Unity Worldbuilding (i.e. come for the whole session)
Requires no prior programming experience
