In January, the Town of Collingwood’s Economic Development team took to the streets, visiting nearly seventy outstanding local businesses as part of the Collingwood Business Appreciation Program. This initiative highlights and celebrates the remarkable contributions of businesses that make Collingwood a vibrant economic hub and allows us to thank them personally for choosing to make Collingwood the home of their business.
During each visit, the team presented a thoughtfully curated gift bag filled with Collingwood-made products, symbolizing the community’s gratitude for their continued commitment to our town. These visits also provided a unique opportunity for informal, meaningful conversations with business owners and managers. Topics ranged from reflections on the past year and discussions about challenges and growth opportunities to insights into future expansion plans and the array of expert services available at the Business Development Centre.
More importantly, the visits celebrated the hard work, resilience, and excellence of each business. By fostering connections and showing appreciation, this program highlights Collingwood’s collaborative spirit and commitment to nurturing a thriving local business community.
The businesses visited were selected based on CollingwoodToday’s prestigious Reader Favorites Program, which recognize businesses that provide exceptional service and products by votes received from the community readers. This selection underscores the exceptional service, quality, and dedication these businesses bring to Collingwood.
